Underneath the Meelfabriek garden and the Singeltoren, a three-storey car park is being constructed for more than 300 vehicles, for use by both residents and visitors. This will ensure that De Meelfabriek as a whole is a low-traffic area and will keep cars out of sight. The car park will have a large number of charging points for electric vehicles in order to facilitate the transition to electric mobility and promote sustainability. Residents, visitors and people who work in the complex will also be able to choose to use a shared electric car. Anyone who comes to De Meelfabriek by public transport or on foot can make use of this option whenever necessary. Alternative transport such as rental bikes or an electric boat is already available via the Bizon Bike Company and Bizon Events.
